ADA Amazonia Aqua Soil Powder (2 Liters)
ADA Amazonia Original, also known as the "golden version," is a premium aqua soil rich in organic acids and nutrients that promote strong root growth in aquatic plants. It’s one of the best substrates for Caridina shrimp and has been trusted by top breeders around the world.
This is the powder type, with fine granules (~2mm), ideal for small aquariums or for spreading over the standard Amazonia as a top layer. It can also be used effectively in both thin and thick layer setups.
Please note that ADA Amazonia releases ammonia during the first 2–3 months, which is beneficial for new setups as it feeds nitrifying bacteria and helps establish a healthy ecosystem.
This is the powder version with fine granules around 2mm in diameter. I prepared this soil by sifting the original version to separate out the smaller grains, as I prefer not to use them in my UGF setups, they break down quickly and can clog the filter. However, this powder is still perfect for thin or thick layer setups.
