Unlike Neocaridina, Caridina shrimp are more sensitive to water parameter changes. It's best to use RO water remineralized with Calcium and Magnesium salts to maintain a GH of 3-5 while keeping KH at 0. Since carbonate hardness raises alkalinity, which is unsuitable for Caridina, a soft, acidic environment is crucial. Caridina prefer cooler temperatures between 19°C and 24°C
