Caridina shrimp
Caridina shrimp are among the most beautiful shrimp in the hobby. These shrimp thrive in slightly acidic water with a stable pH of 6.0 or below, which is why we use active soil to maintain ideal conditions. Unlike Neocaridina, Caridina shrimp are more sensitive to water parameter changes. It's best to use RO water remineralized with Calcium and Magnesium salts to maintain a GH of 3-5 while keeping KH at 0. Since carbonate hardness raises alkalinity, which is unsuitable for Caridina, a soft, acidic environment is crucial. Caridina prefer cooler temperatures between 19°C and 24°C
